Full bio:

Juliet Hooker is a leading thinker on democracy and race who has written extensively about racial politics in the United States and Latin America. She is currently the Royce Family Professor of Teaching Excellence in Political Science at Brown University. Before that, she was a faculty member at the University of Texas at Austin. She is the author of Black Grief/White Grievance: The Politics of Loss.
