S6/Ep 7//Color of Success

A Yale-educated nurse & digital health executive, Pritma Dhillon-Chatta has dedicated herself to improving lives through innovation in healthcare. Her most recent venture, Lavender, is the first online psychiatry office founded by nurses. Her team of 95+ have served 6000 clients since May 2020. Pritma is also a fierce advocate for BIPOC nurses and their ambitious endeavors in transforming healthcare.

In this episode, Pritma and I discuss:

  • Reducing mental health stigma in South Asian communities
  • How the pandemic helped reduce stigma around mental health
  • The use of medication to augment functioning
  • Finding humor in setting boundaries with our immigrant relatives
